We are a semi-private horse barn and are looking for someone to help take care of our horses and maintain our property.
This job is full time, year round.
This person must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
We do have a heated barn and arena.
Duties:
- Feed, care for, and handle horses daily - Keep barn clean (clean stalls, paddocks, sweep, clean waterers, pressure wash, etc) - Upkeep property grounds, this includes but is not limited to, mowing, weed whipping, spraying for weeds, snow removal from paddocks in the winter, etc.
- Be able to operate a skid loader and a tractor for dragging horse arenas, feeding round bales.
-Stack hay, feed, and shavings when deliveries come in - Ability to work on your feet for most of the day -Make minor repairs and be able to use tools to fix or install things around the barn
Experience:
- Previous experience working with horses is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to operate a skid loader, bobcat, lawn mower, basic power tools - Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
