We are currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and looking for caregivers that have a desire to empower resident's lives with purpose and passion and to be part of an award winning, Great Employers recipient, long-term care communityIn collaboration with our healthcare team, you will assist our patients with everyday tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, eating nutritional meals, and going to the restroom.
You will also administer medications, ensuring they take the proper dosages, monitor their behavior and mood, and document any significant changes to their actions or health.

Auburn Homes & Services is a great place to ignite your potential!RESPONSIBILITIES Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed.
Report changes or concerns to the RN.
Document services performed on computerized charting system.
Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
Assist the resident with personal care, which may include the following:
shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Completion of state-approved CNA education and training program.
High level of patience, empathy, and compassion Excellent observation and communication skills Basic computer and note-taking skills (record keeping) Ability to work long hours on your feet Able to perform the essential functions of this job utilizing safety measures and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with staff and residents.
Knowledge and understanding of Resident's Bill of Rights.
